This has stuck in my mind for several weeks… a conversation with my son about the moon. Did you know that you could be there in three days? No wonder there’s an airlines gearing up to sell tickets.

Somehow, this is a paradigm-shifter for me. I know we talk about how small our world has become and how social media has brought us together even closer. Knowing that the moon is such a close neighbor changes the playing field for me.

For example, if challenged to write a list of “Things I Could Do In A Week,” I now know that it’s possible to add “going to the moon and back.” I couldn’t drive to and from California in that amount of time.
